Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective January 1, 2020.

GoodKiddo recognizes that your privacy is very important, and we take it seriously. We have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm and continuing commitment to the privacy of personal information provided by those visiting and interacting with our Platform. We want to be open and transparent about how your personal information is collected and the limited way it’s used. Our Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and sharing of your personal information when you use the GoodKiddo Platform. The terms “GoodKiddo,” “we,” “us,” and “our” include GoodKiddo LLC and our affiliates. We use the terms “member,” “visitor,” “you,” and “your” to mean any person using our Platform or attending related events, including any organization or person using the Platform on an organization’s behalf.

Unless otherwise indicated, this Privacy Policy applies to the processing of information about members and other individuals that we collect when you use the “Platform,” which means any website, application, products, or services we offer, or when you communicate with us, in all geographies in which GoodKiddo offers its Platform. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the information that you may provide to third parties, such as members, and others with whom you may share information about yourself. By using our Platform, you consent to our Privacy Policy. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. Please check back anytime to view our current Privacy Policy.

1. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

GoodKiddo collects two types of information about and from its members: personal information and non-personal information. We collect the information from you when you provide it to us directly, when we request it from you, or when you give us permission to get it from a third party source. Personal information is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person. To access certain Content and features of the Platform, or to purchase any products or services made available via the Platform, you must create a Member Account and provide certain personal information such as your name, phone number, billing address, email address, and payment method information (e.g., credit card, bank, or PayPal account numbers). You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personal information you submit to GoodKiddo. Your Member Account is password protected so that access to your personal information is limited to yourself and any other parties with whom you choose to share your User ID and password with. GoodKiddo and its strategic partners collect the following types of personal information: (a) information obtained from user transactions involving the Platform (e.g., Contributions you elect to Share via the Platform and User Account registrations, updates, and activities), and (b) information you provide to GoodKiddo in response to any communications to you, including those to verify credit card information and/or your identity. GoodKiddo uses industry-leading encryption standards for your Personal Information. For example, your credit card number will always be stored in an encrypted form.

The security of your account also depends on keeping your account password confidential. You should not share your account name or password with anyone. If you give your password to someone else (like a significant other, your boss, or a website), they will have access to your account and your Personal Information.

2. COLLECTION OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION

GoodKiddo and its strategic partners also collect non-personal information (i.e., data in a form that cannot be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person). Examples of non-personal information collected include, but are not limited to: data from users’ use of the Platform, including, but not limited to, (a) demographic information (e.g., user occupation, language, zip code, area code); (b) users’ computer and mobile device information (including Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, operating systems, and browser software used by users of the Platform); and (c) data regarding how the Platform is being used (e.g., which pages of the Platform are visited, the order in which they are visited, which links are “clicked-through,” and the amount of traffic on the Platform).

Legal and safety reasons

Please ensure that you keep your password safe and do not share it with anyone.

We won’t sell your data

Most of our competition has a “partners” page. This means, people pay them for your data. We see many sites where they make over $1000 in payouts from selling you as a lead. We have never sold clients’ personal information and never will. We also don’t store your search history.

We may also compile certain demographic information from users (such as zip codes, children’s ages) to enable us to improve the service and info which we provide. We may also use this compiled information (but never your individual Personal Information) to share with advertisers for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

If you click on or reply to an advertisement or other offer, we may share your reply with the advertiser, and we may log your interaction as part of tracking the overall effectiveness of the advertisement.  We may also pre-populate replies to ads you click on with your contact details, but those details are not shared with the advertiser without your consent.

The advertising services are supported by third party advertising networks. Our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about our members and their devices over time across GoodKiddo and different websites and services. We may also share with our advertising partners advertising identifiers of our members to help them personalize the ads they see. Where permissible according to applicable law, we may share certain limited personal information about you in hashed form, such as a hashed email address, with our advertising partners and other companies that help us serve ads. We do this to tailor or target advertising or to identify similar audiences to advertise to.  Our advertising partners may be able to associate this information with you based on your advertising identifiers or other personal information they have about you. Our advertising partners use the information they collect to provide our members with personalized ads on GoodKiddo and on different websites and services, and to measure the effectiveness of the ads. Our systems are not currently configured to accept browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals, as no industry-wide standard for handling them has been adopted.

Third party websites

GoodKiddo may partner with third party companies and may contain links to other websites or apps featuring their offers. In order to tailor these offers to you, we may share limited information with such third parties. When you engage with one of these offers, you may share additional information directly with the third party partner. In using GoodKiddo, you may come across links to websites and services operated by third parties (for example, if a member shares a link to a video on YouTube, or if an advertiser provides a link to a contest or sweepstakes). Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Platform to another web site, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which will apply to any personal information they collect, and your activity if you click on or interact with their offers featured on GoodKiddo or other websites or apps. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for such external sites’ privacy and security practices.

Service providers

We may also share your non-personal information with service providers and/or data processors to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Platform. These service providers are contractually required to use it only to provide their service to us, and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes.  For example, we use a company to help test and analyze the performance of our website and mobile applications. We may also use trusted third party payment processors to accept payments for certain services made available on GoodKiddo.

Business re-organization

As we continue to develop our business, we might acquire other companies, which might include information about their customers. We may need to share your personal information with the relevant participants in transactions (or potential transactions) involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, restructuring, reorganization, or sale or other disposition of some or all of the assets of, or equity interests in, GoodKiddo or our affiliates. If that happens, all reasonable efforts will be made to comply with the privacy policy of that company. In the unlikely event that GoodKiddo (or its assets) are sold, customer information will be one of the assets which is transferred to the acquirer.

Amendments to this Policy

This Policy will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and our members’ needs. We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please review it periodically. If we materially change our policies and procedures, we will post those changes on this page. Each version of this policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy that materially change how we treat your personal information, we will endeavor to provide you with reasonable notice of such changes, such as via prominent notice in the Platform or to your email address of record, and where required by law, we will obtain your consent or give you the opportunity to opt out of such changes.
